Obagi NuDerm is a physician-dispensed skin care system which aims to achieve healthy skin from inside out in order to improve the appearance of the skin quality and reduce the visible signs of aging. It is a long-term approach involving a daily program with variable regimes to maintain healthy looking skin. Obagi NuDerm works throughout all layers of the skin, improving the cellular turnover through gentle exfoliation, increasing the collagen production for a more youthful appearance and increases the skin blood flow. It also lightens the dark spots (freckles, age and sun spots) and targets the melasma(uneven skin pigmentation) by reducing or eradicating the melanin production. It also improves the appearance of rough, uneven skin, increases skin laxity and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
